<Look At This! He is Wearing Pink!>

In modern society, pink is recognized as the color that represents girls. But in Victorian times, boys usually wore pink. In the mid-twentieth century, American industry introduced a new perception--pink is for girls, blue is for boys--through TV shows and commercials, in order to stimulate consumption. In the 21st century, there have been many attempts to destroy the myths of stereotypes about gender roles, with men wearing pink clothes and women wearing blue jeans. In the Joseon Dynasty of Korea, where uniform colors were designated according to the rank of bureaucrats, pink was the uniform color of top-level officials until the 19th century.

Through pink, I would like to express perceptions that change with the times, the social situation of modern capitalism and consumerism dominated by consumption, and Eastern ideas destroyed by Western ideas in a humorous way.
